About Me

The sea was calm this morning when I went in for my daily dip. Before the crowds arrived, with their windbreaks, their paddle boards and their rounders bats, it was peaceful. Magical. Gently washing away anything I needed to let go of and holding me as I swam across the bay, between mussels on one rock and the cave on the other side. I felt free. I felt at peace. I felt home.

I love those windows that arrive at the start and end of the day. When the light is low, the mood is mellow and nature is spread out in all its untouched glory. It’s magical.

And I know the stormy times have their place too, those times where (let’s be honest!) we can find ourselves wanting to fast forward. Those messy times when it can feel like you are going backwards, left, right, up, down!  And the edges. Wow there is potency in the edges. Where you have a deep knowing you are ready for the changes. And you also know you need to access a greater than ever depth of conviction and courage to see them through. I have great respect for these times. These are the times we become. If we can find it in ourselves to let go and allow it.

I haven’t always felt this way

As a schoolgirl, I had this quote on my bedroom wall; ‘if you can dream it, you can do it’. I feel this is written in my dna. This is what I want for you. What do you dream? And how would it be for that to be your reality?

For 15 years, I excelled in Strategy and Finance leadership working for household name national and international FMCG and Retail business’. I’ve travelled the world speaking to leaders of organisations, drawing insights and making recommendations. At University I was one of a handful of students who chose to study ‘Corporate Strategy’ lectures on a Friday afternoon. I have always loved creating visions and making them happen.

Academically I excelled; an A* student, gaining a First from University at a leading business school and then moving into a top Finance graduate scheme. I remain proud of these achievements AND I can also see the unhealthy perfectionism that accompanied them which I’m committed to unlearning. I know my worth and my strengths and they are not dependent on external badges or accolades. And this is what I want for you too.

And then I found coaching

I’ve been coaching for 8 years now. An experience that shifted my outlook on life from a black and white frame to a kaleidoscope of colour and possibility. I hold numerous accreditations; an Accredited Diploma in Coach Training from the Association for Coaching, training with the Beautiful You Coaching Academy and most recently ACC accreditation through the International Coaching Federation.

When you work with me, you get ALL of my skillset and experience; the logical, strategic mind, that can put together a strategy or a roadmap, as well as the intuitive, creative, feelings based part of me that I have been reconnected deeper with in more recent years.

You also get someone who has made the brave decisions; successfully pitching to lead on integrating sustainability into commercial decision making at a leading UK retailer, creating sell out empowerment and motherhood workshops, relocating to Cornwall, establishing myself as a coach and artist. I know what it takes to move from a straightjacket to a lifejacket, and it is not the smooth sailing fairy tale many of us were sold. And yet, it IS possible.

Freedom. Because without it, what's it all for?

Because love is never small

Each piece I create is a celebration of the quiet, powerful ways we bring light into each other’s lives. Whether in moments of warmth, or in the tender, messy beauty of healing. My hope is that you find something here that feels like it was made just for you, or for someone you love.
